The guides
Three guides, not three settings on one voice.
Sarah, Marcus and Elena answer the same night differently, because the same night does not always need the same thing. You already know which one you would open first — that is the whole decision.
Most apps that offer you a "companion" give you one personality and a slider. Soulberry gives you three, and they genuinely disagree about what helps. Choosing between them is not configuration. It is the same choice you make when you decide which friend to call.
Sarah, Your Gentle Guide
For the nights when the feeling arrived before the words did.
Sarah does not rush you toward a solution. She will not ask you to reframe it, rate it out of ten, or find the lesson in it. She stays in it with you until it is smaller — which is sometimes the only thing that actually works, and is the hardest thing to ask a person for at one in the morning without feeling like a burden.
Open Sarah when you cannot name it yet. Naming it is not the entry fee.
Marcus, Your Practical Guide
For when you are stuck and sick of having feelings about it.
There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from having already processed something thoroughly and still being stuck inside it. Marcus is for that. He breaks the thing down until the next step is small enough to actually take, and you leave with something you can do before Thursday.
Open Marcus when you do not need to be understood, you need the knot undone.
Elena, Your Wise Guide
For the questions with no task attached.
What this is all for. Who you are turning into, and whether you ever agreed to it. Elena takes the three-in-the-morning question seriously instead of managing it back down to something more convenient. These are the questions most people never say out loud, because saying them in daylight makes everyone worry.
Open Elena when the question is too big to be a problem.
You never start over
Every conversation in Soulberry persists. You do not open the app and recite your life story from the beginning because a session ended, and you do not lose the thread because a week went by. Whoever you spoke to last still knows what you were carrying.
You can change your mind tomorrow. Picking Sarah tonight does not commit you to Sarah; the choice is per-conversation, not per-account.
What they are, plainly
Sarah, Marcus and Elena are AI. They are not clinicians, not therapists, and not people, and Soulberry will never suggest otherwise — the portraits on the homepage are illustrations for exactly that reason. A picture that read as a photograph of a real counsellor would be the wrong kind of true.
Soulberry is not therapy and makes no clinical claims. It is a private place to put what you are carrying, on the days you are carrying it alone.
